Printing Booklet Creation Prints your document in the form of a small book. You must have the optional duplex module installed to use this feature. I It is available for any paper size that is supported for 2-sided (duplex) printing (see Duplex (2-Sided Printing) on page 31). I Your booklet can have any number of page images and the driver prints it on one-fourth that number of sheets of paper. I If the number of page images is an exact multiple of four, there will be no blank pages in the final book. If the number of pages in the book is not in multiples of four, the last page, last two pages, or last three pages may be blank. I The driver reduces each page image by fifty percent and prints two images on each side of a sheet of paper. To create the booklet, fold the pages and staple them after they print. I The 2-Sided option must be set to On to use this option. I On a folded sheet of paper with two page images, the horizontal distance from the fold to the page image is called the gutter. Booklet Creation
Prints your document in the form of a small book. You must have the optional duplex

Your booklet can have any number of page images and the driver prints it on
one-fourth that number of sheets of paper.
If the number of page images is an exact multiple of four, there will be no blank pages
in the final book. If the number of pages in the book is not in multiples of four, the last
page, last two pages, or last three pages may be blank.

side of a sheet of paper. To create the booklet, fold the pages and staple them after
