Chapter 5 Standard Mode CHAPTER 5 Standard Mode 5.1 Overview The NBG6818 is set to standard (router) mode by default. Routers are used to connect the local network to another network (for example, the Internet). In the figure below, the NBG6818 connects the local network (LAN1 ~ LAN4) to the Internet.
