Chapter 8 Applications 8.2.1.3 Profile Screen Use this screen to edit or delete an existing rule. Click Parental Control > Profile to show the following screen. It can be used to create a virtual private network or to interconnect local networks. It uses OpenSSL encryption library and SSLv3/TLSv1 protocols. This provides high security and anonymity for all transmitted data. It also provides faster connection speeds than other VPN protocols. Note: We do not recommended activating OpenVPN Server and OpenVPN Client at the same time on your NBG6818. 8.3.1 OpenVPN Server Screen Use this screen to create an OpenVPN server account. OpenVPN Server/Client
OpenVPN is a VPN protocol which is open source and free of charge. It can be used to create a virtual
private network or to interconnect local networks.
It uses OpenSSL encryption library and SSLv3/TLSv1 protocols. This provides high security and anonymity
for all transmitted data.
It also provides faster connection speeds than other VPN protocols.
Note: We do not recommended activating OpenVPN Server and OpenVPN Client at the
same time on your NBG6818.
