Media Media files and folders About media files and folders In the media application, you can open media files, such as videos, ring tones, pictures, or songs, that are stored in media folders in the BlackBerry® device memory or on a media card that you have inserted into your device. Some preloaded media files, including Home screen background pictures and ring tones, might be available in a Preloaded Media folder on your device. Add a media folder 1. In the media application, click a media type. 2. Click a media folder. 3. Press the Menu key. 4. Click New Folder. 5. Type a name for the folder. 6. Click Save. Rename a media folder You only rename media folders that you have added. 1. In the media application, click a media type. 2. Highlight a media folder. 3. Press the Menu key. 4. Click Rename. 5. About media files and folders
In the media application, you can open media files, such as videos, ring tones, pictures, or songs, that are stored in media folders in the
BlackBerry® device memory or on a media card that you have inserted into your device.
Some preloaded media files, including Home
screen background pictures and ring tones, might be available in a Preloaded Media folder on your device.
Add a media folder
1.
In the media application, click a media type.
2.
Click a media folder.
3.
Press the
Menu
key.
4.
Click
New Folder

5.
Type a name for the folder.

Save

Rename a media folder
You only rename media folders that you have added.
