CORRECT USE Thread take-up spring height Loosen the set screw (1), and turn the entire thread tension adjuster to adjust the thread take-up spring height to between 4 - 6 mm in accordance with the material to be sewn. 3958Q Thread take-up spring tension Turn the thread tension stud (1) to adjust the thread take-up spring tension to between approximately 0.1 0.2 N in accordance with the material to be sewn. Weaker Stronger 3959Q Adjusting arm thread guide Index mark The standard position of arm thread guide (1) is when the screw (2) is aligned with the index mark.
