Main Menu > Messages Tab and Alarms Tab Messages Tab The Messages tab shows a list of messages generated by the GPSMAP 3206/3210. Use the ROCKER to scroll through the messages. The date and time when each message occurred is shown at the bottom of the tab. Alarms Tab Use the Alarms tab to define alarm settings. The Alarms tab is divided into three sub tabs: System, Nav, and Sonar. If you have a GDL 30/30A Marine Weather Satellite Receiver connected, the Weather sub tab is visible. Alarm messages appear in red across the status bar or change the appearance of a data field if that field shows alarm-related data (for example, depth or voltage). Press QUIT to acknowledge an alarm message. The status bar and data field remain red while the alarm condition persists. Main Menu Viewing Detailed Message Information You can view detailed information about the message, such as date, time, position, speed, course, and heading. To view detailed information: Highlight a message, and press ENTER. A window opens showing detailed information for the selected message. To set an alarm: 1. Use the ROCKER to highlight the System, Nav, or Sonar sub tab. 2. Highlight the field next to the alarm you want to set, and press ENTER. 3. Messages Tab
The Messages tab shows a list of messages generated by the GPSMAP 3206/3210.
Use the
ROCKER
to scroll through the messages. The date and time when each
message occurred is shown at the bottom of the tab.
Viewing Detailed Message Information
You can view detailed information about the message, such as date, time,
position, speed, course, and heading.
To view detailed information:
Highlight a message, and press
ENTER
. A window opens showing detailed
information for the selected message.
Alarms Tab
Use the Alarms tab to define alarm settings. The Alarms tab is divided into three
sub tabs: System, Nav, and Sonar. If you have a GDL 30/30A Marine Weather
Satellite Receiver connected, the
Weather
sub tab is visible.
