5. Gently pull on the black tabs at the top and bottom of the formatter board to pull the board from the MFP. Place the formatter board on a clean, flat, grounded surface. 6. If you are replacing an existing fax accessory, pull up to remove it. 7. Remove the fax accessory from its antistatic pouch. CAUTION The fax accessory contains parts that are sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). When removing the fax accessory from its antistatic pouch and while installing it, use static protection, such as a grounding wrist strap that is connected to the metal frame of the MFP, or touch the metal frame of the MFP with your other hand. 154 Chapter 7 Faxing ENWW
