Installation instructions for networked computers (HP LaserJet P2035n only) If you are connecting the product to a network, connect the network cable to the printer network port (HP LaserJet P2035n only). 1. The HP LaserJet P2030 Series printer has on-board networking available for network connection. For a 10/100 Base-T network, connect a twisted-pair network cable between the product and an active network port. 2. Print a Configuration Report page. 3. For the OS X Bonjour feature, locate the mDNS Name under the Network Setting heading on the Configuration Report page. NOTE: 'Bonjour' is found in Mac OS v 10.4 and v10.5. Mac OS 10.3 referred to the same technology as 'Rendezvous'. 4. Insert the Macintosh printing-system software CD into the CD-ROM drive. 5. Run the installer CD. 6. Open the Printer Setup Utility by clicking the icon at the bottom of the screen, or by clicking HD, clicking Applications, clicking Utilities, and then clicking Printer Setup Utility. 7. Click Add, and choose Bonjour from the drop-down list. Then find and click the mDNS name for the product, and then click Add. 8. Print a page from any program to make sure that the software is correctly installed NOTE: If the installation fails, reinstall the software. NOTE: If you are installing the printer using a network connection, you can connect the printer to the network before installing the software, but if you are installing the printer using a USB or parallel connection, install the software before connecting the USB cable or the parallel cable. Insert the HP LaserJet P2030 Series printing-system software CD in the CD-ROM drive. If the CD screen does not open automatically when the CD is put into the CD-ROM drive, double-click the HP LaserJet P2030 Series CD-ROM icon on the desktop to open the installer folder. If you are connecting the product to a network, connect the network cable to the printer network port
(HP LaserJet P2035n only).

The HP LaserJet P2030 Series printer has on-board networking available for network connection.
