4. Reference UTP cable connection chart UTP cable Twisted copper line The Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable is a sort of the signal line connecting the LAN environment. Two copper lines insulated for reducing the electromagnetic induction between two lines are twisted to form the twisted pair. The UTP cable consists of 8 wires, of which four lines (No. 1 and 2 for receiving (Rx) and No. 3 and 6 for transmitting (Tx)) are actually used for the data transmission at the general LAN environment. It can be largely classified two types according to the method for connecting the line for receiving and transmitting. Direct cable It is also called the 1:1 straight cable used for connecting the other equipment at the network. UTP cable connection chart
The Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable is
a sort of the signal line connecting the LAN
environment. Two copper lines insulated for
