Configuring Device Security Defining DHCP Snooping 4 STEP 1 Click Security Suite > DHCP Snooping > IP Source Guard > Properties. The IP Source Guard Properties Page opens: IP Source Guard Properties Page The IP Source Guard Properties Page contains the following fields: • IP Source Guard Status - Enables the use of IP Source Guard status on the device. - Enable - Indicates that IP Source Guard is enabled for the device. - Disable - Indicates that IP Source Guard is disabled for the device. STEP 2 Enable or Disable use of IP Source Guard on the device. STEP 3 Click Apply. The IP Source Guard configuration is modified, and the device is updated. Defining IP Source Guard Interface Settings In the IP Source Guard Interface Settings Page, IP Source Guard can be enabled on DHCP Snooping untrusted interfaces, permitting the transmission of DHCP packets allowed by DHCP Snooping.
