Configuring Multicast Forwarding IGMP Snooping 9 STEP 1 Click Bridging > Multicast > IGMP Snooping. The IGMP Snooping Page opens: IGMP Snooping Page The IGMP Snooping Page contains the following fields: • Enable IGMP Snooping Status - Indicates that the device monitors network traffic to determine which hosts want to receive multicast traffic. IGMP Snooping can be enabled only if Bridge Multicast Filtering is enabled. The possible field values are: - Checked - Enables IGMP Snooping on the device. - Unchecked - Disables IGMP Snooping on the device. • VLAN ID - Specifies the VLAN ID. • IGMP Snooping Status - Indicates if IGMP snooping is enabled on the specific VLAN. The possible field values are: - Enabled - IGMP Snooping is enabled on the VLAN. - Disabled - IGMP Snooping is not enabled on the VLAN. • Host Timeout - Indicates the amount of the time the Host waits to receive a message before it times out. The default value is 260 seconds. • MRouter Timeout - Indicates the amount of the time the Multicast router waits to receive a message before it times out. The default value is 300 seconds.
