Section IV - TCP/IP Remember, when choosing a permanent IP address: • The IP address must follow the format XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX, where each XXX is a number between 0 and 255. • If you select an invalid IP address you may not be able to access the OkiLAN 6010e. • You can also use OkiNet for TCP/IP, OkiNet for NetWare or the Banyan VINES OkiNet for VINES utilities to set a permanent IP address. Remember, when choosing a permanent IP address:
•
The IP address must follow the format
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX, where each XXX is
a number between 0 and 255.
•
If you select an invalid IP address you may
not be able to access the OkiLAN 6010e.
•
You can also use OkiNet for TCP/IP, OkiNet
for NetWare or the Banyan VINES OkiNet
for VINES utilities to set a permanent IP
address.

as no subnet mask specified.
