TROUBLESHOOTING Check the following before requesting repair. If a trouble cannot be corrected even after checking and trying remedy, contact your dealer. Problem The power of system controller is not turned on. The brightness of LCD is not enough. / Characters do not appear on the LCD. Check item and Remedy The AC adapter may be disconnected from either the system controller or the AC outlet. Check the connection. The DC plug may not be firmly plugged into the DC 9 V Input jack of system controller. Check the connection. The display setting value of LCD may be improper. Check the setting. Reference Refer to p. 27. Refer to p. 27. Refer to p. 28. Login standby display does not appear on the LCD The settings of MODE switches at the rear panel may be wrong. Check the settings and turn on the power again. Refer to p. 18. The setting of CONTROLLER NO. switch may be wrong. Check the setting and turn on the power again. Refer to p. 18. Users cannot control cameras with the 3D joystick. You may have turned on the power while some buttons of system controller was held down. Check no buttons are being held down, and turn on the power again. The cable may be disconnected from either the main unit or 3D joystick unit. Check the connection. Refer to p. 27. Refer to p. 17. The combination codes of main unit and 3D joystick unit may not be identical. Check their combination codes. Refer to p. 17. Users who have logged into the system may not be authorized to control cameras with the 3D joystick. Check the user level settings of these users. Refer to pp. 62 to 65. Users cannot log into the system. Cables may be disconnected from either the DATA ports of system controller or other system units. Check the connections. Refer to p. 16. The line termination settings of MODE switches may be wrong. Check the settings and turn on the power again. You may have entered a wrong user ID. Reenter the user ID correctly. Refer to p. 18.
