Halftone Management System If you have the Print-on-Demand Feature installed, you also have he Halftone Management System (HMS) server running. Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services. 2. If the service "InfoPrint Manager IPP Gateway" is started, start it on the new server also. To do this you need to perform these steps: 1. From the Management Console, select Edit > Service Configuration. 2. Check the "Automatically start IPP gateway.." box. 3. To verify that the gateway is working open the Internet browser and enter the following web address, replacing serverhostname with the DNS hostname of the system where the IPP gateway daemon is running: http:// serverhostname:631/printers Note: IPPGW can be ran only with default port which is 631. Management System (HMS) server running.
To verify this, enter:

If the HMS server is running, a line like this will be displayed:

Start the HMS server on the target InfoPrint Manager machine. The configuration
does not need to be migrated as the halftones are handled automatically.
IPPGW configuration
Make sure that the service is started by following these steps:
1.
Go to
Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services
.
2.
If the service "InfoPrint Manager IPP Gateway" is started, start it on the new
server also.
To do this you need to perform these steps:
1.
From the Management Console, select
Edit > Service Configuration
.
2.
Check the "Automatically start IPP gateway.." box.
3.
To verify that the gateway is working open the Internet browser and enter the
following web address, replacing serverhostname with the DNS hostname of
the system where the IPP gateway daemon is running: http://
serverhostname:631/printers
Note:
IPPGW can be ran only with default port which is
