Booklet Maker supports jobs that are a maximum of 15 pages in length. When installed, the Booklet Maker feature is in output bin 3, which is called the Shift Tray Lower. InfoPrint Manager selects Booklet Maker for a job only when the job specifies: 1. center-stitch 2. Output bin 3 Note: If you specify output bin 3, but do not specify center-stitch, pages will be routed to output bin 3 but booklets will not be created. Depending upon how you plan to use these printers, you configure them in two different ways: 1. To use Send and Save functions. 2. To use the Booklet Maker (see "Booklet Maker" on page 23). Configuring as AIX or PSF Other printers to use Send and Save If you define these printer models as either AIX or PSF Other actual destinations, you can take advantage of the Send and Save options to enhance printer throughput. To pass data streams through InfoPrint Manager to the printer without transforming them, complete these steps: 1. From the main window of the InfoPrint Manager Administration GUI, select Printer → Create → AIX or PSF Other destinations. 2. Fill in the necessary fields in the Create Printer Wizard to create an actual destination for these printers. See "Creating and managing actual destinations" in InfoPrint Manager for AIX: Getting Started for detailed instructions. Note: You must install the pioipdm backend that comes with these printers to ensure accurate job accounting.
