Restriction Restriction lets you limit the use of your phone to make outgoing calls and/or to receive incoming calls to any numbers, to no numbers, or to calls from/to your Contacts. 1. In standby mode, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Phone Settings ➔ Security ➔ Restriction. 2. Select the type of calls or messages you want to allow or restrict. • Calls: Select restrictions for Incoming and Outgoing voice calls. • SMS Messages: Select restrictions for Incoming and Outgoing Text messages. • MMS Messages: Select restrictions for Incoming and Outgoing Picture messages. • Data: Allow All data calls or Allow None. 3. Select one of the options that display: • Incoming: Restrict/allow incoming calls. • Outgoing: Restrict/allow outgoing calls. 4. Select the call direction you want to allow or restrict. • Allow All: No restriction on calls. • Allow Contacts: (except Data) No restriction on calls to and from Contacts only. • Allow None: Restrict (block) calls. 96 Note: Default setting for all Restrictions is Allow All. NAM Selection The NAM Selection option lets you select your preferred system (NAM 1 or NAM 2), provided your phone has a NAM 2 number programmed. Note: For more information, contact your Wireless Provider. 1. In standby mode, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Phone Settings ➔ NAM Selection. 2. Select NAM1 or NAM2 and press OK. System Select The System Select menu allows you to select the roaming setting for your phone. 1. In standby mode, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Phone Settings ➔ System Select. 2. Select the desired roaming option: • Home Only: Your phone is available for normal operation only within your designated coverage area. • Automatic: The Preferred Roaming List (PRL) is used to acquire service. If no preferred systems are found, any digital system is acquired.
