• Extract: Calls the sender of the received message. 4. Select an option to invoke its function. Note: For more information on received picture message options, see "Inbox" on page 53. Message Boxes Your phone stores messages in any one of five message boxes. The subsections that follow describe each message box in detail. Inbox Received messages of all types (except Voicemail) are stored in the Inbox. 1. In standby mode, press Messages ➔ Inbox. A list of incoming messages displays on the screen. Tip: While in a call, press Options, then select Messages to open the Messages menu. 2. Select the message that you wish to view. The contents of the highlighted message display on the screen. 3. While viewing your message press Options and select on of the following options: • Chat view: - View Last Message: Displays the most recent message exchanged with this sender/addressee in Normal mode. - Add To Contacts: Save the sender's number to your Contacts. • Normal view: - Forward: Send a copy of this message to another recipient. - Reply With Copy: (Text Msg only) Compose and send a reply message to the originator of the received message and include a copy of the original message. - Save Quick Text: Save the text in this message as a new precomposed message text. - Lock / Unlock: Block/permit erasure of the highlighted message. - Add To Contacts: Save the sender's number to your Contacts. - Message Info: Displays message delivery status, addressee, size, and so on. - Extract: Calls the sender of the received message. Managing Inbox Messages 1. In standby mode, press Messages ➔ Inbox. A list of incoming messages displays on the screen. 2. Highlight a message in the list. 3. Press Erase to remove the highlighted message from the Inbox. Messages 53
