Device Basics Home Key The Home key ( ) takes you back to your Home screen (screen 1 of the 3 total available screens). Back Key The Back key ( ) returns you to the previously active screen. If the onscreen keyboard is currently open, this key closes the keyboard. Using the Search Key The Search key ( ) displays the Quick Search box that can be used to search for a key term both on the phone or online. It's the ultimate search field. In some instances, this key only opens a search box specific to only the current application. Ⅲ Press to launch the Quick Search box. Ⅲ Press and hold function. to launch the Voice Search Using your Device to Search The Quick Search box can be used to manually enter a term or number Search Matches (Device & Web) that is searched for automatically on both your Quick Search Voice Search device and on the Web. Box Touching Voice Search ( ) initiates the same search function but without the need to use the onscreen or QWERTY keyboards. This feature can also be used to dial a phone number and is a supplement to the current Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) feature. (See "2F. Voice Services" on page 112.) 2A. Device Basics 23
