Other Operations Protecting your hearing (AVLS) The AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter System) function keeps down the maximum volume to protect your ears. Control key (./>) Turning off the beep sound You can turn off the beep sound. Control key (./>) MENU/ENTER 1 Press MENU. 2 Press . or > repeatedly until "OPTION" flashes in the display, and then press ENTER again. 3 Press . or > repeatedly until "AVLS" flashes in the display, and then press ENTER again. 4 Press . or > repeatedly until "ON" flashes in the display, and then press ENTER. When you try to turn the volume too high, "AVLS" flashes in the display. The volume is kept to a moderate level. To cancel AVLS Select "OFF" in step 4.
