Beaming between your Sony CLIE Handheld and another Palm OS® PDA Receiving beamed information 1 Turn on your CLIE handheld. 2 Point the IR port directly at the IR port of the other Palm OS PDA handheld transmitting the data. The Beam dialog box is displayed. Beaming data starts. You can select the category in which you save the data in a dialog box. 3 Tap Yes. The data is saved to the unfiled category. Note If Beam Receive in the Preferences menu is set to Off, you cannot receive data using the beaming feature. Before beaming data, make sure to set Beam Receive to On.
