A default value based on the model number and the MAC address is provided in the Setup Wizard. Domain name by which external users can access the security gateway. For example, mysite.com. Physical (MAC) address of the security gateway. The default value is factory-set. You can change this value if your ISP is expecting a certain MAC address (MAC spoofing or cloning). Static IP & DNS tab field descriptions Use the Static IP & DNS tab to configure the security gateway to connect to the Internet with a static IP address and DNS servers, or to connect to your intranet.
