See "To manually reset the password" on page 17. Configuring remote management You can access the SGMI remotely from the WAN side using a computer with an IP address that is within configured range of IP addresses. The range is defined by a start and end IP address configured on the Remote Management section on the Administration/Basic Management tab. You should configure the IP address for remote management when you first connect to the SGMI. Remote management is sent in MD5 hash. Note: For security reasons, you should perform all external remote management through a Gateway-to-Gateway or a Client-to-Gateway VPN tunnel. This provides an appropriate level of confidentiality for your management session. See "Establishing secure VPN connections" on page 81.
