Getting started Installation Install the telephone base close to a telephone jack and a power outlet not connected to a wall switch. For optimum range and better reception, place the telephone base in a central and open location. Depending on the environmental conditions, make sure that your Bluetooth enabled cellular phone is within 12 feet of where you install the telephone base in order to maintain a reliable connection between your Bluetooth cell phone, the telephone base, and a cell tower (see below). Avoid placing the telephone base too close to: • Communication devices such as: personal computers, computer routers, television sets, VCRs, wireless routers (wireless broadband, Wi-Fi, or 802.11) or other cordless telephones. • Excessive heat sources. • Noise sources such as a window with traffic outside, motors, microwave ovens, refrigerators, or fluorescent lighting. • Excessive dust sources such as a workshop or garage. • Excessive moisture. • Extremely low temperature. • Mechanical vibration or shock such as on top of a washing machine or work bench. ® Cell phone Cell tower Telephone base  www.vtechphones.com

Installation

For opt±mum range and better recept±on, place the telephone base ±n a central and open locat±on.
Depend±ng on the env±ronmental cond±t±ons, make sure that your Bluetooth enabled cellular phone
±s w±th±n 12 feet of where you ±nstall the telephone base ±n order to ma±nta±n a rel±able connect±on
between your Bluetooth cell phone, the telephone base, and a cell tower (see below).
Avoid placing the telephone base too close to:
Commun±cat±on dev±ces such as: personal computers, computer routers, telev±s±on sets, VCRs,
w±reless routers (w±reless broadband, W±-F±, or 802.11) or other cordless telephones.
Excess±ve heat sources.
Noise sources such as a window with traffic outside, motors, microwave ovens, refrigerators, or
fluorescent lighting.
Excess±ve dust sources such as a workshop or garage.
Excess±ve mo±sture.
Extremely low temperature.
Mechan±cal v±brat±on or shock such as on top of a
wash±ng mach±ne or work bench.
