Basic opeTrealteiopnhone operation Telephone operation Dialing a redial entry From the Redial list, you can dial a redial entry telephone number using the HOME or CELL line. To redial an entry: 1. Press the REDIAL softkey when the handset or telephone base is in idle mode. 2. Press the UP and DOWN NavKeys to select a redial entry. 3. Press HOME/FLASH or on the handset, or HOME on the telephone base. -OR- Press CELL on the handset or on the telephone base. Editing a redial entry When a redial entry has been selected, you can edit the entry and save it to the phone book or dial the telephone number. To edit a redial entry: 1. Press the REDIAL softkey when the handset or telephone base is in idle mode. 2. Press the UP and DOWN NavKeys to select a redial entry. 3. Press MENU/SEL on the handset or press the SELECT softkey on the telephone base to put the selected entry into predial mode. • Press OFF/CANCEL on the handset or CANCEL on the telephone base to delete the last digit. • Press the PAUSE softkey or press and hold # on the handset or telephone base to enter a dialing pause. 4. Press the SAVE softkey to save the entry in the Phone Book (see pages 74-76). • When editing the number, you can also press and hold # to enter a pause. • Display remains in predial mode after saving the edited redial entry to the phone book. www.vtechphones.com 91

Dialing a redial entry
From the
Redial
l±st, you can d±al a red±al entry telephone number us±ng the
HOME
or
CELL
l±ne.
To red±al an entry:
1. Press the
REDIAL
softkey when the handset or telephone base ±s ±n ±dle mode.
2. Press the
UP
and
DOWN
NavKeys to select a red±al entry.
3. Press
HOME/FLASH
or
on the handset, or
HOME
on the telephone base.
–OR–
Press
CELL
on the handset or on the telephone base.
Editing a redial entry
When a red±al entry has been selected, you can ed±t the entry and save ±t to the phone book or d±al
the telephone number.
To ed±t a red±al entry:
1. Press the
REDIAL
softkey when the handset or telephone base ±s ±n ±dle mode.
2. Press the
UP
and
DOWN
NavKeys to select a red±al entry.
3. Press
MENU/SEL
on the handset or press the
SELECT
softkey on the telephone base to put the
selected entry ±nto pred±al mode.
• Press
OFF/CANCEL
on the handset or
CANCEL
on the telephone base to delete the
last d±g±t.
• Press the
PAUSE
softkey or press and hold
#
on the handset or telephone base to enter a
d±al±ng pause.
4. Press the
SAVE
softkey to save the entry ±n the
Phone Book
(see pages 74-76).
When ed±t±ng the
number, you can
also press and hold
#
to enter a pause.
D±splay rema±ns ±n
pred±al mode after
sav±ng the ed±ted
red±al entry to the
phone book.
