Table 73 Tool > Syslog View > Log Viewer LABEL DESCRIPTION Time Select within the number of hours or days in the past the log you are looking for was received by the ENC for the search criteria. The options are Last 24 hours, Last 48 hours, Last 5 days, Last 7 days and Last 30 days. Select Custom to display additional fields if you want to customize a period for the search criteria. Click the text box next to Start Date or End Date, a calendar displays as shown next. Select a location (local0~local7) from the drop down list box. The log facility allows you to display the logs in different files in the syslog server of the ENC. Select All to display all messages in all the files on the ENC. Select which severity level of log entries you want to see. You can also select All. Severity ranking follows RFC 3164 of the SYSLOG protocol and is defined as follows. • Emergency - System is unusable • Alert - Action must be taken immediately • Critical - Critical conditions • Error - Error conditions • Warning - Warning conditions • Notice - Normal but significant condition • Info - Informational messages • Debug - Debug-level messages Enter the source IP address that generated the log entry.
