Chapter 8 Application Table 138 AP Detail (continued) LABEL DESCRIPTION Security Mode This displays the security mode in which the SSID is operating. Forwarding Mode This displays the forwardnig mode in use by the SSID. VLAN ID This displays the VLAN ID associated with the SSID. 8.7.3 AP Group You can configure AP groups that include APs managed by the NXC5200. The AP group can include APs on different NXC5200s. You can create an AP group and apply profile settings to a group of APs instead of configuring one AP at a time. To view the AP Group list, click an AP Group in the Wireless Controller Management > AP Group screen. To create an AP group click the Add button, or to edit an existing one, select an AP group from the list and click the Edit button. The following screen displays. You may use 1-30 alphanumeric characters. Description Specify a description for the group. Device Click the device name in this column to select or deselect all APs on the specific device. + Click this to expand the list of APs for a device. - Click this to collapse the list of APs for a device. AP This field displays the AP name. Select/Unselect Click this to add or remove a AP from the AP group. OK Click OK to save your changes.
