You can also place text at any angle, even if you aren't sure of the measurement. Variations of the Text Point and Text Rectangle commands allow you to place text aligned to two points. The first point specifies the text basepoint and the second specifies the angle. In the case of the Text Rectangle command, a third point specifies the extent of the text box. You do not have to use the same snap or lock modifier for these points. For instance, you could use Gridpoint snap for one point and Endpoint snap for the other. To add text aligned to two points 1 On the Draw menu, click Text, Point, or click the Text Point button on the All-In-One toolbar. 2 (optional) On the edit bar, change the font, height, and/or justification. 3 Make sure the Formula check box on the edit bar is not checked. 4 (optional) To automatically wrap text, check the Wrap Width check box on the edit bar then enter a value in the Wrap Width text box and press ENTER. 5 Press and hold CTRL and enter a point for the basepoint of the text. 6 Enter a second point for the angle of the text. The Text Input dialog box appears. 7 Enter the text. The text edit mode defaults to the last text edit mode used. To change text edit modes, use the Inplace Edit button on the Text Editor dialog box to switch to inplace editing or use the Text Editor Dialog button on the edit bar to switch to text editor mode. For information on using the Text Editor, refer to page 218. 8 Click OK. For inplace editing, move the pointer away from the text box and rightclick or click CTRL+ENTER. Placing Text | 215
