To align the selection handles to the entity 1 Create a selection set. 2 Right-click the selection set, then click Align Selection Set, Entity. To align the selection handles to World Coordinates 1 Create a selection set. 2 Right-click the selection set, then click Align Selection Set, World. Clearing a Selection Set Clearing the selection set is a good idea when you are done with an editing operation. Otherwise, you may make accidental changes to entities in the set. To clear the selection set s On the Edit menu, click Select, Clear Selection, or click the Clear Selection button on the All-In-One toolbar. OR s Right-click the selection set and click Clear Selection on the pop-up menu. OR s Press ESC or click outside the selection set. Modifying the Properties for the Entire Selection Set Once you have created a selection set, you can make modifications to all the entities in the selection set. If your selection set is a single entity, you can use the controls on the edit bar and property bar to make changes to the entity's geometric and graphic properties. If your selection is a group of entities, such as polygons, you can use the controls on the property bar to change their layer or graphic properties. You can also edit the properties of the selection set by clicking Entities, either on the Edit menu or on the pop-up menu for the selection set. When you click this command, the Edit Entities dialog box appears and displays controls for all the entity types contained in the current selection set. Each set of controls appears on a page of the dialog box associated with each entity type. 256 | Chapter 20 Selecting & Deleting Entities
