Checking Spelling You can check the spelling in your drawing using several dictionaries available in different languages. AutoSketch checks the spelling of the selection set or, if no selection set is defined, the entire drawing. AutoSketch also allows you to check spelling in: s Dimension format strings (text embedded in dimension labels) s Database field values (including symbol data fields in the Symbol Explorer) s Edit controls s Dialog boxes s Text Editor During a spell check, AutoSketch matches the words in the drawing to the words in the current main dictionary. You can create a custom dictionary that contains a list of spelling exceptions you have identified, including proper names. You can switch between the main and custom dictionaries. To check spelling 1 (optional) Define a selection set. 2 On the Tools menu, click Spelling, or click the Spelling button on the Standard toolbar, or press F7. 3 If AutoSketch finds no misspellings, it displays a message saying "Spell Check is Complete." Click OK. OR If AutoSketch finds a misspelled word, the Check Spelling dialog box appears with a list of possible corrections in the Suggestions window. s Click Ignore to skip the current instance of this word. s Click Ignore All to skip all instances of this word. s Click one of the words in the Suggestion list, then click Change to replace the misspelled word with this word. s Click one of the words in the Suggestion list, then click Change All to replace all instances of the misspelled word with this word. s Click Add to add the word to the current custom dictionary. 4 Repeat step 3 until AutoSketch finds no more misspellings.
