Modifying Text You can edit the content, as well as the geometric and graphic properties, of any text entity in the drawing. There is a built-in editor included with AutoSketch for updating the content of existing text entities. In addition, you can modify many text properties including font, height, angle, and justification directly from the edit bar. When you select a text entity for editing, you can double-click the entity or select the Edit Text button on the edit bar. The text edit mode defaults to the last text edit mode used. To change text edit modes, use the Inplace Edit button on the Text Editor dialog box to switch to inplace editing or use the Text Editor Dialog button on the edit bar to switch to text editor mode. Changing Text Height, Angle, Justification, and Wrap Width AutoSketch allows you to individually place each text entity. For each text entity you can define: s Height s Angle s Justification s Wrap Width You can modify any of these settings on the edit bar by entering new values in the appropriate text boxes. To change the height, angle, justification, and wrap width of an existing text entity 1 Select the text. 2 (optional) To change the text height, enter a different height in the Text Height text box on the edit bar and press ENTER. 3 (optional) To rotate the text about its basepoint, enter a different angle in the Text Angle text box on the edit bar and press ENTER. 4 (optional) To move the text in relation to its basepoint, click a new justi- fication from the drop-down list box on the edit bar. 5 (optional) To automatically wrap text, check the Wrap Width check box on the edit bar then enter a value in the Wrap Width text box. Changing Text Height, Angle, Justification, and
Wrap Width
AutoSketch allows you to individually place each text entity. For each text
entity you can define:
Height
Angle
Justification
Wrap Width
You can modify any of these settings on the edit bar by entering new values
in the appropriate text boxes.
To change the height, angle, justification, and wrap width of an existing text
entity

Select the text.

(optional) To change the text height, enter a different height in the Text
Height text box on the edit bar and press ENTER.

(optional) To rotate the text about its basepoint, enter a different angle in
the Text Angle text box on the edit bar and press ENTER.

(optional) To move the text in relation to its basepoint, click a new justi-
fication from the drop-down list box on the edit bar.
