10 Making Copies 10 Using the MFC as a Copier You can use your MFC as a copy machine, making up to 99 copies at a time. The MFC can stack the copies or collate (sort) them. The scannable area of your MFC begins at approximately one-eighth inch (4 mm) from the edge of the paper. 1/8" (4 mm) Not Scannable 1/8" (4 mm) Making a Single Copy The default resolution for a single copy is AUTO, which you can use for originals containing both text and photographs. You can also select Text and Photo, as needed. 1 Place the original face down in the ADF. 2 Press Copy, then wait five seconds-OR-Press Copy again. Making Copies
Using the MFC as a Copier
You can use your MFC as a copy machine, making up to 99 copies at a time.
The MFC can stack the copies or collate (sort) them.
The scannable area of your MFC begins at approximately one-eighth inch
(4 mm) from the edge of the paper.
Making a Single Copy
The default resolution for a single copy is AUTO, which you can use for
originals containing both text and photographs. You can also select Text and
Photo, as needed.

Place the original face down in the ADF.
