Working with Images in File Viewer Utility Processing RAW Images Correcting the Brightness (Digital Exposure Compensation) You can correct the brightness of an image in the range of +/-2 stops in 0.1-stop increments. 1 Click the [Digital Exposure Compensation] button. \ The [Digital Exposure Compensation] dialog box appears. 2 Correct the image brightness. ● When you drag the slider left or The [Digital Exposure Compensation] dialog box right with the mouse, the image in the Preview mode brightness can be adjusted. ● The [Preview] button appears in the Preview mode. When you click the [Preview] button, the image brightness changes according to the value of the new slider position. The [Digital Exposure Compensation] dialog box in the Thumbnail display mode 3 Click the [OK] button. \ The corrected value is applied to the image and the [Digital Exposure Compensation] dialog box closes. \ The corrected value is displayed with the corrected image. 3-21

Correcting the Brightness (Digital Exposure Compensation)
You can correct the brightness of an image in the range of +/–2 stops in 0.1-stop increments.

Click the [Digital Exposure Compensation] button.

The [Digital Exposure
Compensation] dialog box appears.

Correct the image brightness.
When you drag the slider left or
right with the mouse, the image
brightness can be adjusted.
The [Preview] button appears in
the Preview mode. When you click
the [Preview] button, the image
brightness changes according to
the value of the new slider position.

Click the [OK] button.
