Processing RAW Images Adjusting the White Balance You can adjust the white balance in your RAW images. You can also save the adjusted white balance on your computer as white balance data. (➞3-28) In addition, you can register the white balance data saved on your computer as personal white balance data in the camera. (➞4-29) Select the White Balance Select the white balance from the [White Balance] list box. ● The table below shows the 9 available white balance settings. Auto File Viewer Utility automatically adjusts the white Approx. 3000 to 7000 balance. Daylight Select this setting for shots taken outdoors in sunny weather. Approx. 5200 Shade Select this setting for shots taken outdoors in shade. Approx. 7000 Cloudy Select this setting for shots taken outdoors in cloudy weather or in shade, at dusk and for shots of sunsets. Approx. 6000 Tungsten Select this setting for shots taken in incandescent lighting. Approx. 3200 Fluorescent Select this setting for shots taken in fluorescent white lighting. Approx. 4000 Flash Select this setting for shots taken using a flash. Approx. 6000 color temp Select this option to directly set a value between 2800K and 10000K (in 100K increments) as the white balance color temperature.
