Cropping Still Images Movies You can specify a portion of an image to save as a separate image file. 1 Choose [Cropping]. ●●On the Quick Control screen (=23), choose [ ]. 2 Adjust the cropping area. ●●A frame is displayed around the portion of the image to be cropped (1). ●●To resize the frame, move the zoom lever. ●●To move the frame, press the / / / buttons. ●●To move among the items at the top of the screen (2), turn the dial. ●●To straighten the image, choose [ ]. ●●To change the aspect ratio, choose [ ]. 3 Check the edited image. ●●Choose [ ] to display the cropped image. ●●To cancel editing, choose [ ]. 4 Save the new image. ●●Choose [ ]. ●●The image is now saved as a new file. ●● Cropped images will have a lower number of recording pixels than uncropped images.
