General Settings • Change the Default Mode When the machine is idle or you press Cancel, the machine will return to the mode you set. • Set the Mode Timer The machine returns to the default mode after use of the machine in a mode other than the default mode. The Mode Timer setting defines how much time the machine takes after the last operation to return to the default mode. If you choose Off, the machine will stay in the mode you used last. • Adjust the Machine Volume • Change for Daylight Saving Time Automatically The machine to change automatically for Daylight Saving Time. • Set the Sleep Mode Countdown The Sleep Mode (or Power Save Mode) setting can reduce power consumption. When the machine is in Sleep Mode, it acts as though it is turned off. The machine will wake up and start printing when it receives a print job or a fax. The default time is 11 minutes. • Set Auto Power Off Mode If the machine is in Deep Sleep Mode for certain length of time, based on your model and settings, the machine will go into Power Off Mode automatically. General Settings
• Change the Default Mode
When the machine is idle or you press

, the machine will return to the mode you set.
• Set the Mode Timer
The machine returns to the default mode after use of the machine in a mode other than the default mode. The
Mode Timer setting defines how much time the machine takes after the last operation to return to the default
mode. If you choose
