Your Dell machine's Check Size setting causes the machine to display a message when you remove the paper tray from the machine, asking if you changed the paper size. Change the Paper Size When you change the size of the paper you load in the tray, you must change the paper size setting on the LCD at the same time. 1. Press Menu. 2. Press p or q to display the General Setup option, and then press OK. 3. Press p or q to display the Paper option, and then press OK. 4. Press p or q to display the Paper Size option, and then press OK. 5. Press p or q to display the Letter, Legal, Executive, A5, A5 L, A6, Folio, or A4 option, and then press OK. 6. Press Cancel. Change the Paper Type To get the best print quality, set the machine for the type of paper you are using. 1. Press Menu. 2. Press p or q to display the General Setup option, and then press OK. 3. Press p or q to display the Paper option, and then press OK. 4. Press p or q to display the Paper Type option, and then press OK. 5. Press p or q to display the Thin, Plain, Thick, Thicker, or Recycled Paper option, and then press OK. 6. Press Cancel.
