The 10/100 LAN port has two LAN link status LEDs. The green LED is the link LED, and the amber LED is the activity link. The two status LEDs on the gigabit Ethernet adapter are marked Link and Data. The Link LED indicates that the link is up; the Data LED flashes to indicate data movement on the NIC. Refer to Figure 2-9.
