Servicing and Upgrading an IP4700 3 Replacing the Drive Fan Pack ! CAUTION Handle the drive fan pack gently, and use an ESD wristband. Do not remove a faulty drive fan pack until you have a replacement unit available. You can remove the drive fan pack while the IP4700 is powered up. If the pack is removed for more than approximately two minutes, the storage processors and disk modules power down. They will power up when you reinstall the drive fan pack. To remove the drive fan pack: 1. Grasp the latches on the drive fan pack, and squeeze them together, as shown in Figure 3-10. 2. Gently pull the pack out of the enclosure.
