Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section. 2. Keep the Phillips #2 screwdriver ready. 3. Remove the 2.5-inch drive cage. 4. Remove the 2.5-inch drive cage cover. Steps To install drive 0 and drive 1, perform the following steps: a. Slide drive 1 into the drive cage. b. Lower drive 0 into the drive cage. c. Secure the drives to the drive cage by using the screws. d. Connect the power and signal cable to the drives. NOTE: Ensure that the connector labeled HDD0 is plugged into upper drive before reinstalling bay. 72 PowerEdge C4140 installing and removing system components

Follow the safety guidelines listed in the
Safety instructions
section.
2.
Keep the Phillips #2 screwdriver ready.
3.
Remove the 2.5-inch drive cage

4.
Remove the 2.5-inch drive cage cover
.
Steps
To install drive 0 and drive 1, perform the following steps:
a.
Slide drive 1 into the drive cage.
b.
Lower drive 0 into the drive cage.
c.
Secure the drives to the drive cage by using the screws.
d.
Connect the power and signal cable to the drives.
NOTE:
Ensure that the connector labeled HDD0 is plugged into upper drive before reinstalling bay.
