Initialization The printer can be initialized (returned to a fixed set of conditions) in three ways: Hardware initialization • • Software initialization • Control panel initialization l The power is turned on. The printer receives an INIT signal from the parallel interface (pin 31 goes LOW). Software sends the ESC @ command. You press the PAUSE and ALT buttons at the same time (buffer clear). Default settings The table below shows the default conditions that take effect when the printer is initialized. Initialization
The printer can be initialized (returned to a fixed set of conditions)
in three ways:
Hardware initialization •
The power is turned on.
The printer receives an INIT signal from the
parallel interface (pin 31 goes LOW).
Software initialization

Control panel initialization
