Chapter 4: Installing Components 19 Lay the new board into the server, then slide it toward the back until the I/O ports protrude from the back of the server. 20 Reconnect all cables to the system board that had been unplugged. 21 Reinstall the plastic overlays, then reinstall the fan cage and the fans. 22 Reinstall the full-length expansion card guide, then reinstall the hot-swap expansion card curtains. 23 Reinstall all expansion cards. 24 Reinstall the processor board brackets and the processor board. 25 Reinstall the memory board and the air duct. 26 Reinstall all panels. 27 Turn on your server, then press F2 when the Gateway logo screen appears during startup. The BIOS Setup utility opens. 28 Restore any BIOS settings that you wrote down in Step 3. If there are erorrs during startup or in the operating system, see "Troubleshooting" on page 119. 29 Save your settings and close the BIOS Setup utility. 112 www.gateway.com
