Chapter 4: Installing Components Replacing the power supply cage Replacing a power supply cage may require the help of a qualified service technician. To replace the power supply cage: 1 Follow the instructions in "Preventing static electricity discharge" on page 36. Make sure that you turn off the server, then unplug the power cords and all other cables connected to the server. 2 Remove all of the power supplies. For instructions, see "Replacing a hot-swap power supply" on page 47. 3 Remove the top rear panel, the top front panel, and the inside panel. For instructions, see "Removing the top rear panel" on page 41, "Removing the top front panel" on page 43, and "Removing the inside panel" on page 45. 4 Remove the fans and fan cage. Replacing the power supply cage
Replacing a power supply cage may require the help of a qualified service
technician.
To replace the power supply cage:

Follow the instructions in
