6 Copy, Scan, and Mobile Fax Learn how to use the copy, scan, and mobile fax features. Copy from printer Use the printer control panel to copy a document or an ID card from printer. 1. Load paper in the input tray. See Load media. 2. On the control panel Home screen, touch Copy. 3. Touch Document Copy or ID Card Copy. 4. Set the number of copies or change the default copy settings. NOTE: By default, the printer is set to copy in color. Touch Save to save the current settings as default. 5. To copy a document, load your original print-side down on the scanner glass or print-side up in the document feeder. Touch Copy. To copy an ID card, load your original ID card on the scanner glass, touch Copy, and then follow the on-screen instructions to load your ID card or complete copy on the scanner glass. Copy or scan from a mobile device If your mobile device has a camera, you can use the HP software to copy or scan a printed document or photo. TIP: You can use the HP software to edit, save, print, or share the copied or scanned image. 1. Open the HP software on your mobile device. 2. Tap the Plus icon or the Add Printer option. 3. Tap Copy, Camera Scan, or Printer Scan. 4. Place a document or photo in front of the camera, select a size option to help identify the size of the original, and then tap the round button at the bottom of the screen to take a picture. TIP: For best results, adjust the camera position to place the original within the provided frame on the preview screen. 5. Specify other settings, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete copy or scan. Copy from printer
Use the printer control panel to copy a document or an ID card from printer.
1.
Load paper in the input tray.

Set the number of copies or change the default copy settings.
NOTE:
