CLI Commands show.nameServer Syntax nameServer Purpose This command displays information from the name server database for devices attached to this Switch. NOTE: It is possible to have more than one device per port for any public loop devices attached to an FL Port. Parameters This command has no parameters. Command Example Root> show nameServer Output The device information data is displayed as a table that includes the following properties: Type Port Id Port Name Node Name COS FC4 Types The type (N, NL, F/NL, F, FL, E, B). The 24-bit Fibre Channel address. The port World Wide Name of the attached device. The node World Wide Name of the attached device. The class of service (for example, 1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; F; 1,2; 2,3). The FC4 types registered for this device. One or more numbers display in this field. CLI Commands
Syntax
nameServer
Purpose
This command displays information from the name server database for devices
attached to this Switch.
NOTE:
It is possible to have more than one device per port for any public loop devices attached
to an FL Port.
Parameters
