CLI Commands config.ip.ethernet Syntax ethernet ipAddress gatewayAddress subnetMask Purpose This command sets the Ethernet network settings. Description The Telnet connection can be lost when these Ethernet network settings are changed. If the IP address is reconfigured, your Telnet client must be reconnected to the new IP address. A new login will be requested. Parameters This command has three parameters: ipAddress gatewayAddress subnetMask Specifies the new IP address for the Director or Edge Switch. The address must be entered in dotted decimal format (for example, 10.0.0.0). Specifies the new gateway address for the Ethernet interface. The address must be entered in dotted decimal format (for example, 0.0.0.0). Specifies the new subnet mask for the Ethernet interface. The address must be entered in dotted decimal format (for example, 255.0.0.0). Purpose
This command sets the Ethernet network settings.
Description
