Removal and Replacement Procedures- Slim Tower (ST) Chassis 7.10.2 Optical Drive ✎ An optical drive is a CD-ROM, CD-R/RW, DVD-ROM, DVD+R/RW, or CD-RW/DVD Combo drive. 1. Remove any removable media, such as a CD or DVD, from the drive. 2. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 7.1). 3. Remove the computer cover (Section 7.5). 4. Rotate the drive cage to its upright position by pulling on the green-tabbed lip. 5.
