Using the Fingerprint Reader (h5500 only) Setting the Maximum Number of Attempts Ä CAUTION: It is important to consider the maximum number of attempts. If you unsuccessfully enter your PIN, password, or fingerprint the maximum number of attempts, you will lose all data and applications in the RAM and your iPAQ Pocket PC will be returned to an as-shipped configuration. 1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings > Password. 2. When using a PIN or password, tap Options > Max Logon Attempts. User's Guide 10-22
