Installing the unit ÑÑNon-Japanese cars (DNX995S) Connection/Installation ●●General Motors cars (DNX995S) 1) Cut out accessory - to meet the shape of the opening of the center console. 2) Attach accessory - to the unit. - Bend the tabs of the mounting sleeve with a screwdriver or similar utensil and attach it in place. ÑÑJapanese cars 6 or 7 Car Bracket Cut out to meet the shape of the opening in the vehicle. ●●Toyota/Scion cars (DNX995S) 1) Cut out accessory - as illustrated. Cutting line - 6 or 7 NOTE • Make sure that the unit is installed securely in place. If the unit is unstable, it may malfunction (eg, the sound may skip). ÑÑTrim plate (DNX995S) 1) Attach accessory 8 to the unit. 2) Fold double-sided adhesive (accessory =) along the slit and attach it to accessory cut-out against the center rib as illustrated. Use 2 pieces of accessory = for 1 accessory - cut-out. 3) Attach accessory - cut-out to the unit. = 8 English 93
