It should be replaced by a new or working printhead. ● Reseat: The printhead has been identified as faulty, but removing and reinserting it may perhaps solve the problem. ● Remove: The printhead needs to be removed. ● Printhead replacement incomplete. Restart it. The printhead did not complete the replacement procedure. You must restart the replacement and fully complete it. ● If the warranty status is Out of warranty, this indicates that the warranty conditions have expired (for example, ink consumption exceeds the warranteed limit). NOTE: If a printhead is out of warranty, one of three possible status values may be seen in its health gauge: ● OK: The printhead can print normally. ● Monitor IQ: Print quality may not be maintained in all prints. ● Recover: You are recommended to use enhanced printhead recovery on that printhead (see Enhanced printhead recovery on page 108). If the warranty status is See warranty note, this indicates that the warranty conditions have been breached (for example, expired or non-HP ink has been used).
