Note: Because your phone's audio player is actually a Java application that you access from the main menu, the settings described here will not affect the audio player unless they affect Java applications. The audio player feature may not be offered by your service provider. Display/Info Features The Display/Info menu controls how the keypad and display appear: • Wallpaper - changes the wallpaper that appears on the idle screen. • Text Size - sets the size of text on the display. • Theme - changes the look of the display. • Home Icons - controls whether main menu icons appear on the idle screen. • Backlight - controls backlight illumination. • Clock - controls whether the time and date appear on the idle screen; sets time and date format; sets year. • Menu View - controls whether the items on your main menu and Java applications menu appear as large icons or a list. • Large Dialing - sets large digits to appear on the idle screen when you enter a number. Using Settings • Contrast Ext - sets the contrast of the external display. • Language - sets the language that your phone displays. Phone Calls Features The Phone Calls menu controls how your phone handles phone calls: • Set Line - sets phone line 1 or phone line 2 as the active line for outgoing calls. • Any Key Ans - If this feature is on, you can answer calls by pressing any key on the keypad. • Auto Redial - sets your phone to automatically redial calls you make when the system is busy. • Call Waiting - See "Call Waiting" on page 51. • Auto Ans - sets your phone to automatically answer an incoming call after a specified number of rings. When this feature is on, the phone answers by connecting you to the caller; it does not send the call to voice mail, unless you are out of coverage or on the line. • Flip Activation - See "Setting Flip Actions" on page 53. • Minute Beep - causes a beep to sound every minute of an active call. 173

Display/Info Features
The Display/Info menu controls how the keypad
and display appear:
